STUDIO POLICY
PRIVACY
Written for members and visitors of Fitbodyjourney in Singapore. Last updated 2026. No registration numbers appear on this page.
Who we are
This notice explains how Fitbodyjourney handles personal data you send through this website. It is written for people in Singapore and for visitors who contact the studio from elsewhere. It is not a substitute for legal advice, and it does not use registration numbers of any kind.
The organisation responsible for this site is Fitbodyjourney, 190 Clemenceau Avenue, #05-02, Singapore Shopping Centre, Singapore 239924. You can reach us at [email protected] or +65 6887 4120. Hosting for the site is in Singapore.
What the form collects
When you submit the enquiry form we collect your name, e-mail address, the message you typed, the subject you selected, and, if you chose to give it, a telephone number. We also collect the time the form was generated, which we use only to slow automated submissions, and a hidden field that should stay empty. We collect a consent tick that records you agreed we may use those details to reply. We do not ask for identity card numbers, medical record numbers, or payment card details on this website.
Why we use it
We use that information for one purpose: to answer your enquiry about a trial, a programme, membership, return-to-lifting, corporate or pair training, or another studio matter you described. We may telephone you if you left a number and the question is faster by voice. We do not sell the list. We do not trade it. We do not use it to build advertising audiences. We do not pass it to a marketing platform.
Messages are read by the people who run the studio desk. They are not published. If your message includes health information (a physiotherapy handover, a mention of an injury), we treat that as sensitive in the ordinary sense: fewer eyes, stored only with the enquiry, used to plan a safe trial. We are not your clinic and we do not open a medical file through this form.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for twelve months from the date you sent them, then we delete them. If you become a member, a separate membership record is created under the agreement you sign at the desk; that record is not the website form, and its retention follows the signed document, not this page. If you do not join, the website enquiry still expires at twelve months unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold from the form, and you can ask us to correct it if a name or e-mail is wrong. That is the access and correction request in plain language, in the spirit of Singapore's PDPA. Send the request to [email protected] or call +65 6887 4120. Tell us the e-mail you used on the form and the approximate date. We will need to satisfy ourselves that we are speaking to the right person before we release anything. We aim to respond within thirty days.
You can ask us to delete the enquiry. E-mail or telephone are both acceptable. Deletion does not unwind a reply we already sent, and it cannot erase a copy that may sit in an e-mail backup for a short technical period, after which it rotates out. If a legal claim is active, we may retain a copy until that claim ends, then delete it.
Cookies, maps and hosting
This website sets a choice cookie named fbj_consent if you accept or decline the banner, so we can remember that choice for six months. A short session cookie may be issued by the server to keep a browsing session stable. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies before you choose. Details live on the cookies page. Local storage in your browser may hold the same choice so the banner stays hidden on this device.
The contact page includes a map iframe served by Google Maps. If you load that page, Google may process technical data under its own terms. We do not place an API key on this site and we do not receive a feed of who looked at the map. You can read the address and skip the map if you prefer.
We use hosting in Singapore. We do not intend to transfer form contents to a marketing vendor overseas. E-mail in transit may pass across networks we do not control; that is the nature of e-mail, not a hidden processing deal.
Changes and how to reach us
Links to other sites (for example the map provider) are not covered by this notice. If we change this notice we will update the page and the date below. Continued use of the site after a change means the new wording applies to new enquiries. It does not rewrite the purpose of data you already sent; that remains 'reply to the enquiry' unless you become a member under a signed agreement.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, contact us first so we can fix it. You may also contact the Personal Data Protection Commission in Singapore. We would rather hear from you directly at [email protected].

QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS PAGE
Write to us or call the desk if a paragraph is unclear before you send an enquiry. We would rather explain it once than bury it in small print.
